For our Citizens at Brookwood in Georgetown, many are longing for a residential community designed specifically for them, where they can be independent and have a sense of belonging with their peers. The financial demand for this type of assisted living will span several decades and be overwhelming for many families.

The Welcome Home Fund will ensure that families who qualify for residential financial assistance will have a safe and nurturing place for their child to live. The W.D. Kelley Foundation, already generous friends of BiG, has offered a lead gift of $25,000 to launch The Welcome Home Fund.
